Explorer: Lost in the Arctic

PBS

Graded in Dolby Vision HDR.

Sir John Franklin set off from England in 1845 with 2 ships and 129 men to be the first to navigate the Northwest Passage, a new trade route over the top of the world. Franklin's ships vanished without a trace. Now, a team of explorers attempt to solve the mystery by retracing Franklin's route in search of his long-lost tomb.

Faction provided Dolby Vision HDR color grading, bringing together contemporary footage, archival material, stills, and motion graphics into a cohesive visual narrative. We also handled online finishing and delivery for National Geographic and Disney+.
