Grizzly 399: Queen of the Tetons
PBS
Grizzly 399: Queen of the Tetons follows the life of the most famous bear in the world, Grizzly #399, as she attempts to raise an unusually large litter of four cubs to adulthood in Grand Tetons National Park. Amidst a warming climate, human encroachment, and the looming threat of losing protected status under the Endangered Species Act, a mother bear makes increasingly unexpected and consequential choices to protect her family.
Our team worked closely with Director Elizabeth Leiter and Executive Producer Kim Woodard with Lucky 8 TV to finish the documentary. We provided color grading, online editorial, packaging, and final delivery for broadcast and DCP.
The film was featured at several film festivals, including the Pendry Plaza Fall Film Festival, Bend Film Festival, and Rocky Mountain Women's Film Festival, and premiered on television on PBS Nature.
